The Cake Carousel Climbers Club was born out of a mutual love of climbing amoungst friends.
Concieved in 2009 on a remote beach on the North Coast of Devon whilst climbing on Vicarge cliff. The Cake Carousel Climbers Club derives its name from the local Vicarage Tea rooms High tea and an obsession with the finer foods of life such as cream filled chocolate ecclairs, mini doughnuts and lemon sponge cakes.
The club has small and honest beginings but a big appetite (quite literally) currently there are 11 members from various backgrounds spread throughout the world and scratching various existences. The majority of the club climb work and play in the soutwest of England in gods county Cornwall. Some of the other heathans are based in Devon, up north (past the river Tamar) and some are even abroad….

Hey Guys, just had a look at your web site, and was thinking you may be able to asist the BMC in the new coast rights of way bill. We need HELP!
I’ll put this site on my list of potential volunteers.
